The Anritsu MT1000A Network Master Pro is a versatile, battery-powered field tester designed for verifying the performance and integrity of transport networks and optical fibers. Supporting both current and legacy technologies, it ensures reliable Ethernet, OTN, SONET/SDH, and OTDR testing from 10 Mbps to 100 Gbps.

Equipped with a high-resolution OTDR, the MT1000A simplifies fiber inspection with a graphical summary (Fiber Visualizer) and traditional OTDR trace options. It evaluates fiber quality, loss, and faults—pinpointing splices, dirty connectors, and macro bends. Users can switch between analysis modes and wavelengths for comprehensive testing.

The transport module supports Ethernet/IP client services, circuit-based transport, MPLS, and PBB-TE with industry-standard test suites such as RFC2544, Y.1564, and RFC6349. Dual-port testing is available across all speeds, and WLAN/Bluetooth interfaces allow flexible connectivity.
